Congratulations to our illustrious staff members on being recognized for excellence by their peers! Our financial secretary Amy Stanley is our Outstanding Employee fr 2026. Adrian Green, one of our amazing EC teachers, is our Distinguished Educator for 2026. And the Uwharrie Ridge 6-12 Teacher of the Year is Candace Curry! Additionally, Candace is our school's CTE Teacher of the Year. These ladies work hard to support our school, and we are thrilled to work with them!

Spring Picture day will be Wednesday, March 25th. All students in 6th through 11th grade will be photographed. A QR code will be sent home with your student on Wednesday afternoon. This will give you access to the proofs once they are available. Parents will be notified via email when they are ready to be viewed. Mrs. Hill’s class had an amazing field trip today! ☕️ We visited A Special Blend in High Point to learn all about what it takes to run a coffee shop. Since our students operate their very own Brew Crew here at Uwharrie Ridge, this was such a meaningful and hands-on experience.
They learned so many important skills—and even came back with THREE new drink ideas that will be added to our menu next week! 👏
We wrapped up our day with lunch at Pioneer Restaurant, and it truly was a wonderful day full of learning, teamwork, and fun. So proud of our students!

Due to the forecast of severe weather for tomorrow, all schools in the RCSS will be closed tomorrow, Monday (3/16/26).
Seventh-grade students from all seven Randolph County Middle Schools visited Randolph Community College on Monday, March 9 to explore their course offerings. Students explored welding, automotive, photography, healthcare, and other hands-on stations during their campus tour.
