Due to the inclement weather and road conditions, all schools will be closed today (12/3/24). As a result of this decision, today (12/3/24) will become an optional teacher workday.

PGHS/NERMS Athletic Boosters are coming together to raise money for both athletic programs. Thank you for your support!

Winter weather is just around the corner. On the RCSS Inclement Weather Video, Superintendent Gainey gives an overview of the steps taken by the school district when inclement weather strikes.

On October 15, RCSS hosted Manufacturing Day for approximately 150 8th graders from our seven middle schools. Students first visited Allen Industries in High Point to learn about signage design and manufacturing. Each school then toured a local industry—options included Bartimaeus By Design, Kaufman Trailers, Technimark, PEMMCO, and Timken. The students showed a strong interest in manufacturing, reflecting their work on Career Development Plans over the past year.

Scan the QR code to register students for the hunter safety education class. The class will be on Nov 5th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and lunch will be provided. This class is for students who need a hunter education card.

Teachers’ Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of the role played by teachers all over the world. They dedicate their lives to making an impact on the way children learn and grow and turn into adults.
