Hi, I am Mrs. Hoogkamp. I have been teaching at Southmont for six years. This is my fourth-year teaching 5th grade. I have been teaching a total of nine years. I have experience in third, fourth, and fifth grade. I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and have my BS in Elementary Education. My husband is also a teacher and is the baseball coach at Asheboro High School. We have a two-year-old little boy named Beckett. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sports (Go Tarheels!), going to the gym and relaxing at the beach. I am looking forward to another fun year in 5th grade!
