My name is Melanie Burgess and I have been at Southmont Elementary School since its opening.  I am a reading specialist, but I have also taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade. I love teaching all of the different grade levels!!  Students are amazing people who love to ask questions and explore interesting topics.  I look forward to watching the students learn and grow this year!! ❤️ ❤️
