Bethany Adams

MY BIO:

I am Bethany Hoogkamp Adams. I was born and raised in Asheboro, NC. Growing up all I wanted to do was teach. So, here I am! This will be my 21st year teaching. I believe teaching was my calling and it is my passion. I graduated from Southern Wesleyan University in 2003 (Go Warriors!). Your child will be cared for, challenged, and have fun learning in the process. My goal as a teacher is to help students reach their fullest potential and to encourage them to be lifelong learners. The motto in my classroom is: "This classroom is a safe place to make mistakes." I want my students to know that it is okay to make mistakes because we all do. We will grow and learn together. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. I have been married for 17 years and we have three darling children. Our family loves watching sports, traveling, and spending time with our friends. I am looking forward to a great school year!
