Welcome Ulah Fire Department

Second graders at Southmont had a visit from the Ulah Volunteer Fire Department.  Students learned important safety tips such as having a home escape plan and meeting place, how to determine if a door is safe to open during a fire, and to never hide in closets or under beds during a fire. Students also had the opportunity to tour a fire truck.

Many thanks to these men and women who risk their lives to save the lives of people in our community. Thanks also for the valuable information shared with the students!
